About Staffing Looking for Parts Manager (Automotive) at Whitecourt, Alberta, Canada Full Time

Our client is looking for a Parts Manager (Automotive) to join their domestic dealership located in Whitecourt, Alberta. This role will require working collaboratively with senior management when it comes to individual and team performance, budgeting, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, a natural motivator, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively (and diplomatically) with internal and external stakeholders.

This person will work diligently to ensure optimum workflow is achieved at all times and that the ultimate customer experience, from beginning to end, is the main overall goal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Keeping a comprehensive/updated inventory of all parts while ensuring their quality and being mindful of fluctuations in stock based on current trends and promotions
• Ensuring the departments profitability and growth while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Reviewing the departments monthly sales performance with the management team and making improvements where needed to increase the dealerships overall profit
• Providing effective training, supervision, and mentoring to ensure employee and department performance
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Post secondary education in business administration considered an asset

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Successfully complete a criminal record check
• Knowledge of domestic automotive systems and parts
• Strong business acumen and computer skills at an intermediate level

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years domestic automotive parts department experience is required
• Past experience in a management, leadership, and/or supervisor role is required

Base Salary: On target earnings (OTE) $80,000 – 120,000+ (commission)

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Weekend availability required on occasion

Remote Work:

• This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
