MOBIA is currently looking for an Automotive Electronics Installation Technician to join our team in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair two-way radio equipment in vehicles
- Removal of vehicle trim, running & terminating wires
- Testing & troubleshooting two-way radio issues
- Following customer provided installation standards
- Ability to work independently, and as a team
- Frequent travel throughout Nova Scotia
Skills/Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract with 5+ years of driving experience in Canada is required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and security clearances.
- 2-5 years of experience with automotive electronics installation (GPS, car audio, car alarms, two-way radio)
- Experience configuring & testing two-way radio systems would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of computers
- Ability to plan and coordinate workload
- High aptitude for troubleshooting and working under pressure
