Junior Accountant
Location: Downtown Vancouver near skytrain (hybrid mixed home and office)

The Role:
The Junior Accountant provides support to the Project Accounting team by managing daily
accounting tasks and taking ownership of monthly close deliverables to meet reporting
deadlines and other business needs.
- Support full-cycle accounting for various corporate entities and complex project entities,
- including processing accounts payable, preparing monthly close journal entries, preparing invoices, preparing bank reconciliations and processing deposits.
- Prepare and support preparation of monthly financial reporting, including balance
- sheets, income statements and GST reasonability calculations, for various corporate
- and project entities;
- Collect and provide invoices and other information for auditors and quantity surveyors;
- Process invoices and ensure the accuracy of coding, allocation and approvals;
- Prepare and process cheque requisitions;
- Maintain vendor profile and EFT vendor information;
- Process monthly ACH/EFT and cheque payments;
- Perform ad hoc tasks to support Director of Finance, Corporate Controller and
- Project Accounting Managers as needed;
- Provide filing and other administrative support as needed.
