To support that challenge, the Branding and Operations team is currently seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist.

This position is a 12 month fixed-term contract position that is covering a parental leave. We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Calgary, AB, Guelph, Ontario or remotely across Canada. 

Duties

• Project manage various marketing communication tactics including but not limited to: online and offline assets, traditional media, sales materials, retail resources, signage, product guides, videos, etc.
• Collaborate with external vendors and freelancers for projects that require promotional items, printing, shipping, fulfillment, translation, and other outside services.
• Work within project processes/ workflows from concept to completion by creating project briefs, organizing project kickoff calls, working with required stakeholders to develop project plans/ work back schedules and collaborating with team members to effectively deliver tactics on time and within budget.
• Act as a collaborative partner to the Marketing Operations and Customer Marketing teams by building trusting and reliable relationships.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or Communications, or 2+ years of relevant experience with similar job responsibilities.
• Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals and communications principles.
• Expertise using Microsoft Office products.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Trello or another project management software, Mural and/or Smartsheet an asset.
