Tata Steel Minerals Canada Limited (TSMC) with its headquarters in Montreal (Quebec), operates iron ore mines in the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec. The opportunity
TSMC is currently seeking an HR & Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our HR team in our Montréal corporate office, located at 1000 Rue Sherbrooke West. The incumbent will work a Monday to Friday schedule, with some flexibility required, and on a hybrid model consisting of 3 days/week in the office and 2 days/week working from home. Occasional travel to our mine site, located near Schefferville QC, may be required.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Corporate Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating) of various positions (trades, industrial/mining positions, engineers) in response to the Operations recruitment needs at the TSMC mine site and corporate office. The incumbent will also lead the employee relations function for the corporate office, design and facilitate training programs for our learning and development function, and support processes and projects involving compensation, benefits and reporting. The incumbent will also collaborate on various HR projects and process improvement activities.
A central role in the Corporate HR team and a key player in delivering a positive candidate and employee experience, the ideal candidate is client-focused and detail-oriented, and has demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
