The incumbent will primarily work directly with the Operations, Maintenance and Projects Departments to ensure safe, efficient and reliable Urea & Utilities unit performance and make decisions and suggestions to address problem areas and improve overall plant performance.

This position is located in (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Cananda) and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:
Process and Personnel Safey Support

Plant Performance; Monitor unit KPS’s, Provide ongoing support to Operating Teams

Provide support for our long range business needs, capital investment plans and projects

Ensure engineering standads are maintained in own work as well as in areas of repsonsibility

Provide assistance and mentorship to other employees when required

What you will bring:
Chemical, or process engineering degree with 5+ years of experience

B Sc. Degree or equivalent

Registered, or immediately eligible to be, with APEGA as a Professional Engineer

Knowledge in pressure vessel, piping codes, heat exchangers, pump, compressors, safety valve design and RAGEGEPS

Ability to work in an operational team environment with limited supervision

Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, and organization skills.

Experience working with MS Office, SAP, PI Vision, Aspen HYSYS and PIPE-FLO (or equivalent simulation softwares)
