Purchasing Agent Job Responsibilities:
· Inputting all items into Fohlio
· Pricing items for both Construction + Furniture phases
· Liaising with Design Team about any discrepancies in product and pricing questions
· Prepare product proposals for clients review
· Prepare product proposals for invoicing
· Prepping POs for order + tender
· Assistance of Procurement coordination
· Assistance with office administration (ordering office supplies, etc.)
· Creating new trade accounts and scheduling supplier presentations @ ABI
· Scheduling warehouses
· Arranging Reveals
Purchasing Agent – Candidate Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required
· Prior knowledge of Interior Design (or related field) and purchasing/pricing process highly desired
· Ability to work both independently and with multiple departments on various purchasing needs
· Working knowledge of major vendors, suppliers and trades in the design field
· Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
· Demonstrated Analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
· Proficient in Microsoft 265 and related applications.
· Strong knowledge of Quick books and Fohlio or similar procurement software.
· Tracking Budget Expenses
· Strong ability to multi task to ensure both purchasing duties are complete for clients as well as internal office needs
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
