Job Title: Cypress UI Test Automation Developer (AgExpert)
Job Type: Contract; Full-Time
Location: Remote (Canada)
About the Company:
Our client is a Crown corporation providing specialized and personalized financial services to farming operations. Our client offers financing, insurance, software, learning programs, and other business services to producers, agribusiness owners and agri-food entrepreneurs across the country.
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the AgExpert Development Team, you’ll participate in using Cypress to document and automate regressive test cases.
- You’ll be testing AgExpert’s cloud based commercially available software: AgExpert Field and AgExpert Accounting.
Requirements:
Required Experience
- 6- 8 years progress experience as a BA
- 2-3 years experience designing the Employee IT Technology experience
- 3-4 years experience with SaaS solutions (Jira, ServiceNow, etc)
- 3-4 years experience in working with wide range of Back Office teams
- 3-5 years experience in working across a Agile practice team
- 5+ years experience in requirements management, including requirements gathering, analysis and the writing of user stories
Required Skills and Education:
- University Degree specifically in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience leading or assisting with the automation of UI tests for a data entry Web application using Cypress.
- Ideating and coding test scenarios, monitoring test execution, managing pipeline.
- What was the purpose of the system (ex: time tracking, hotel reservation, online store, etc) where the candidate helped automate UI tests?

- Able to effectively lead demos and presentation
Nice to Have:
- Manual exploratory testing experience
- Understanding of basic relational database design
- Experience with mobile automated UI testing of native iOS and/or Android apps
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team
- Experience using Microsoft DevOps to track work
