We are seeking a talented Accounting Associate to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Overview:
As an Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. You will collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
· Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
· Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and customer inquiries.
· Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
· Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
· Assist in preparing month-end and year-end close procedures.
· Assist in financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making.
· Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and forecasting.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
· CPA candidate or recent graduate
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 2-3 years of industry experience in accounting roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in accounting software (QBO) and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Range: $60,000 – $70,000 + Bonus
