Job Title: Executive Director, Friendship Ministries Canada
Location: Fully remote in Canada, ideally located in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area
Time Allocation: 18 hours per week for the first 1-3 years. Depending on support raising efforts and preferences of the Executive Director in consultation with the Board, the position will move to 25 – 37.5 hours per week.
Rate: $40 per hour, plus vacation pay.

Our mission is to enhance the spiritual and community life of individuals with disabilities by providing tailored support and resources that facilitate full participation in the church and beyond. We seek a committed and compassionate Executive Director to lead our organization, who embodies our Christian values and has a heart for inclusivity and service.
Position Summary:
The Executive Director will act as the chief executive officer of the organization, overseeing all aspects of administration, program development, and strategic planning. This role includes managing a small team of up to three employees and subcontractors, with significant focus on fundraising, communications, marketing, group relationship building, organizational growth, and curriculum development for disability services. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and ensures all activities reflect our Christian principles and commitment to serving people with disabilities.
