Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Junior Estimator will be responsible for providing estimating services to support the Project Development and Estimating departments.
Field experience is foundational for a career in estimating. The successful candidate will work as a Project Coordinator in our Operations team for +/-2 years prior to joining our Estimating team. This will allow you to learn more about Clark Builders as a whole, and to become a more well-rounded Estimator. Refer to the Project Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities below.
Following your time in Operations, as a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for processing, handlining and distribution of various documents, drawings and tender packages as required by the team. The Junior Estimator will become a part of the Estimating team environment and complete estimating essentials to benefit the team as a whole. This may include quantity takeoffs, soliciting trades and suppliers for bid submissions, and updating database pricing. The Junior Estimator will maintain sufficient knowledge of in-house software to be able to operate all Clark Builders software tools.
