Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join a construction team as a Construction Manager. This unique role involves not only actively participating in on-site construction activities but also overseeing human resources-related functions to ensure a well-coordinated and efficient workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Site Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the construction team (Project Managers and Site Superintendent)to execute various tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Track major equipment
- Assist in maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Track and organize tuck fleet
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
- Facilitate employee reviews and review all hourly wages
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction work and familiarity with construction site operations.
- Basic understanding of human resources practices and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
