Buffalo Trail Public Schools requires a full-time probationary teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The teaching assignment will include grade 4/5/6 generalist and options programming and additional duties as assigned by the principal.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following

A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Shall be a dynamic student-centered educator committed to maximizing learning in a safe and caring environment

Experience and/or training in the application of Assessment for Learning strategies, embedded formative assessment, and varied summative assessments is essential

Possess a strong background in the use of technology to enhance student learning

Ability to create a positive learning environment and foster positive professional relationships with students

Is dependable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting

Demonstrates a strong commitment to professional growth and continually increasing their effectiveness as an educator

A willingness to participate in extracurricular activities would be considered an asset

Demonstrate knowledge of strong assessment practices

Experience programming for students with exceptional needs would be considered an asset

Understanding of a split grade classroom and differentiation is necessary

Delnorte School is a small rural schoolwith 60 students in grades 1-12.

Innisfree is a small rural community. This quiet village has a population of 250 and rural district approximately 1250. Innisfree offers essential servides and recreational facilities.
