Copia Wealth Studios

Copia Wealth Studios is recruiting an experienced Client Success Specialist to support the client service team. The Client Success Specialist is a data entry master that translates portfolio complexity into fully realized instances within Copia. You’ll be responsible for decrypting Patron portfolios during onboarding and acting as a rosetta stone between Patrons, Product Owners, Designers and Developers.

Our Mission:

At Copia Wealth Studios, our mission is to simplify wealth and unlock unprecedented access for all investors. We pride ourselves on building idiomatic native experiences and investing in pixel perfection. We believe culture is the one thing you can’t over-index. We accept humans are poor substitutes for robots – we also understand humans are not resources.

Our Core Values:

We have four core values that we believe make the ideal teammate:

  • Be Humble.
  • Be Humane.
  • Be Hungry.
  • Be Holistic.

About You

Your friends often seek you out for opinions about money, investments, and tech. You are a finance junky wanting to play a critical role in shaping the future. You’re as comfortable processing spreadsheets as digging into client portfolio issues over Zoom. You breathe continuous improvement into everything you touch, from the client experience to internal processes. You revel in your breadth of financial literacy and take pride in your exceptional communication skills. You are bilingual… you speak English and the language of finance;

statements of accounts, capital calls, and K-1s are second nature.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct client service and financial services industry experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) and an ability to build relationships
  • Experience with modern financial technologies
  • Deep understanding of financial acumen
  • Client-focused, highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and colleagues
  • Capable of exercising judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Proven record of being reliable, prepared, responsive and eager to learn
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and/or other standard financial services systems/apps

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our clients throughout their onboarding journey. This will include understanding their financial picture and data structure to ensure data accuracy, as well as ongoing communication and driving client adoption
  • Lead organization of client data, allowing it to be processed by you and others
  • Support and validate data issues alongside machine learning systems
  • Bridge the gaps between client expectations and product teams
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and tooling
  • Collaborate with client services, designers, developers and business stakeholders to ensure consistent communication loop on client feedback and feature requests
  • Perform portfolio integrity tests to ensure data is represented accurately
  • Troubleshoot data consistency issues proactively
  • Maintain and optimize operational workflows
  • Participate in new product launches, and become a product expert

Notable Perks:

  • Remote work. We’re a 100% distributed workforce with 10+ years of experience working in remote teams. That said, we still know the importance of face-to-face. We host an in-person “Summit” every 18 months and allow employees to travel to the closest “hub” to mingle between Summits (within reason, pre-approval required).
  • Flexible hours. If you need to drop the kids off at school and would rather clock hours at night, that’s cool. We recognize work-life balance and understand that managing the modern family unit can be messy. Most of the team works in PT/GMT, so some overlap is mandatory.
  • Fun matters. Which is why we built “The Wheel of Fortuna,” a prize wheel everyone gets to spin when we achieve our goals. It’s also why we have weekly happy hours and regular “game nights.”
  • Health insurance. We provide competitive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage in the US and Canada. In the US specifically, we cover 75% of insurance.
  • Learning matters. You can expense any (work-related) book. Any course under $250 is usually instant approval.
  • Fuelling passion. We’ll approve workshops and conferences on a case-by-case basis. If there’s something that you’re passionate about that also benefits the team, chances are it’s approved.
  • Philanthropic contributions. We’re committed to giving back; we use a triple-bottom-line philosophy, allocating a percentage of equity, profit, and time to causes we love. As a team member, you’ll have the opportunity to influence these investments.
  • Vacation & time off. Vacation is based on seniority rather than time at the company.
  • Transportation (US only). Pre-tax account for parking and transit, as required.
