The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
This job posting is for a Research Assistant or Associate at Dr. Donald Vinh’s Laboratory, Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. The “Centre of Excellence for Genetic Research in Infection and Immunity” is focused on identifying and characterizing genetic immunodeficiencies that confer susceptibility to infectious diseases in humans, and more specifically on the identification of new causal genes and on understanding their pathophysiology using cell and molecular biology. This unique research is based on studies of actual patients evaluated in Dr. Vinh’s clinic.

Other education considered an asset for this position: An academic background with a M.Sc. (for Research Assistant) or Ph.D. (for Research Associate) is a requirement.

Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday
