Job Details:

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Work Locations: options for Surrey, Langley, West Coquitlam, Maple Ridge

Responsibilities:

Assist in installing plumbing system in new construction projects.
Read and interpret construction blueprints and plumbing schematics.
Prepare job sites for installation, including tool setup and ensuring the safety of the work area.
Work alongside senior plumbers to learn the intricacies of construction plumbing.
Participate in the inspection and testing of plumbing systems to ensure code compliance.
Engage with contractors and project managers to coordinate on project requirements.
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety and procedural guidelines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a plumber apprentice, preferably in construction settings.
Familiarity with construction plumbing practices, codes, and regulations.
Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment tailored for large-scale projects.
Strong physical condition and ability to work in different construction environments.
Excellent teamwork skills and a strong desire to learn.
High school diploma or equivalent; current participation in a vocational training program in plumbing highly regarded.

Salary: $20-$50.00 per hour based on experience for Journeyman

Expected hours: 40 per week
