We proudly represent the new automobile franchised dealerships in Manitoba. We handle provincial issues affecting our dealer members’ well-being and continue to work tirelessly to support initiatives that create an enabling environment that allows the automotive industry in Manitoba to thrive. In 2015, we were pleased to have created an industry-based safety program, now called Sales and Services Safety Association (S2SA). This energetic and passionate team provides quality industry-specific training, consulting services, and SAFE Work Certification to businesses in the sales and service sectors

Position Summary:

Our Member Services Lead, Business Development person will be the key point of contact with members, and stakeholders, to advance the strategic direction of the MMDA and provide quality membership support. They will be responsible for maintaining and building the organization’s membership services and sponsorship programs in alignment with our strategic plan.

This role will maintain an excellent rapport and build long-term value-based relationships with members and related companies. Applicants should have a strong business sense, sales, communications, and marketing knowledge, and be a motivated self-starter. With their enthusiastic and ambitious energy to provide the highest quality of membership and customer service, they will play a definite key role in enhancing the association’s image, reputation, and growth.

The Executive Director ultimately oversees this role, which is responsible for reporting KPIs to both the Executive Director and the Manager of Finance. The position emphasizes the importance of collaborative work, as successful performance hinges on effective collaboration with other organizational units. These units include Administration (Finance, Marketing, Organizational Business Partner, and other office administration) and MMDA Programming (Collision, ZEVIP, and Events Management). Additionally, the role collaborates closely with the administrative team to enhance existing business processes and develop innovative approaches that contribute to the organization’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Customer Service/Relationship Management: Support members, sponsors and other stakeholders by addressing their needs promptly. Maintaining and building strong relationships with all relevant parties.

· Forecasting/Budgeting: Oversee accurate forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company financial goals. Will collaborate with MMDA Finance to develop annual plan, and to ensure financial goals are met. MMDA Finance will act as this lead’s Finance Business Partner in preparing reports, forecasts, and updates to management and Board of Directors.

· Expansion: Identify and develop opportunities to expand sponsorship/partnerships in alignment with annual financial and program KPI’s.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the central services team and other divisions to ensure seamless project execution and member satisfaction.

· Marketing: assist with various aspects of the strategic marketing and communications plan.

· Program Execution and Coordination: In collaboration with other team members, carry out strategic initiatives to advance association programs.

Your qualifications:

· Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration or equivalent · Demonstrated sales experience.

· Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth.

· Excellent leadership and abilities.

· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Creative, can think outside the box when creating sponsor and partnership opportunities.

· Strong strategic planning and budgeting skills.

· Proven experience in project management.

· 3 years + office experience.

· Must have a minimum of a valid Class 5 vehicle driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and be available to travel.

· Marketing experience is an asset

· Experience in automotive industry an asset

· Experience working in a not-for-profit organization an asset

· Experience with industry programs is an asset

· Management experience is an asset

· Possess superior customer service and engagement ability with exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

· Have an immediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

· The ability to work with minimal supervision in a respectful team environment

· Have a ‘no job is too small’ attitude and outlook

· Have prior experience using a CRM in a sales or administrative capacity.

· Have excellent communication Skills and can maintain strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.

· Have the ability to thrive and multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, adjusting strategies to meet changing business requirements.
