Description:
Responsibilities:
• Processing of Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Infrastructure, External Manger custody, performance and management fees including fee accruals and invoice preparation.
• Prepare and validate inputs for monthly, quarterly and yearly Financial Statement reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency and delivery of appropriate information to stakeholders and clients as per prescribed deadlines. Prepare cost accounting reports for management review and approval.
• Understand and follow corporate procedures and financial accounting standards. Ensure that there is accurate recording of cost related activities in the appropriate journals and ledgers.
• Support monitoring the compliance of investment managers against prescribed guidelines, investigate deviations from standard with external investment managers and internal portfolio managers, determine the causes and escalate to management as required.
• Support internal and other audits of the investment function including the provision of information to auditors as required.
• Mitigate operational risk by adhering to and following business continuity plans.
• Champion and lead innovation to achieve process efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service to existing clients and business partners deliver timely and accurate information reporting. Set up and monitor new accounts/entities and existing accounts.
• Meet internal and external clients service levels as outlined in their IMAs. Work in collaboration with management to support audits and financial statement preparation
• Prepare custodial fees for management review and provide feedback to support negotiations to reduce cost for custodial services.
• Provide input into the development, review and monitoring of business processes, procedures and checklists to maximize efficiency, productivity and control effectiveness related to investment administration and fund accounting activities.
• Assisting in the execution of documents and administrative requests related to client accounts and pooled fund investments.
• Engage in team projects to support delivery as per direction and ensure individual goals and milestones are met to support corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with other team members to share information and processes to improve internal operations.
• Question status quo and champion change to create process improvements and streamline tasks and activities across teams. Design, shape and mold processes to support the business effectively and efficiently.
• Train and support team members as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
