Our South Delta client is seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable professional to join their Accounting Team. This is an in the office position – and a vehicle will be required as the location is not transit friendly.

The organization has a stellar reputation in their industry with locations in both the US and Canada. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the processing of all invoices from vendors and is a key contributor in ensuring all Accounts Payable related matters are reviewed and processed timely while working alongside of their fellow team members. A collaborative team player, the Accounts Payable Accountant embodies a positive, professional, proactive approach to their work.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

3-5 years of related accounts payable experience, ideally in a busy – complex environment..
Outstanding organizational skills.
Time management and priority management skills.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting, including knowledge of ASPE.
Self-starter requiring limited supervision and a desire to work in a team environment.
Analytical skills, and extreme attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
