Title: Sheet Metal Foreman/Supervisor UNION

Hourly Salary: Union Rate – approx 70$/HR (TBD by Local)

Overtime: Union Rate – approx. 1.5X (TBD by Local)

Per diem: 140$/Day (for room & board)

Work day: 6 days per week (7-days sometimes) – potentially 60+hours/week

Location: Windsor Ontario

Reporting to: Program Director

Audience: Superintendents, field personnel, trade partners and client representatives.

Project Duration: 12 months (after completion more work to come)

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination:

 You will supervise craft workers and subcontractors involved in sheet metal installation projects.

 Coordinate their activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

 Lead by example, hands on activities/installation

Interpretation of Specifications and Blueprints:

 You’ll interpret project specifications, blueprints, and work orders.

 Use this understanding to guide the installation process.

Enforcement of Safety Regulations:

 Enforce safety regulations and company policies among workers.

 Ensure a safe work environment for everyone involved.

Work Scheduling and Problem Solving:

 Establish and adjust work schedules based on equipment availability, materials, and personnel capabilities.

 Analyze and resolve any work-related problems that arise during the installation process.

Quality Control and Inspection:

 Inspect the work of others to maintain quality standards.

 Apply your expertise to solve complex problems related to sheet metal installation.

Key Performance Indicators you will be measured on:

 On Time Delivery

 Quality

 Planning/Scheduling – tasks prepared initiated.

 Materials Work packaged set up right product, right equipment, right location, on time for work.

Logistics:

After hours: sometimes on high risk/reward deliveries
