Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has proven experience in the construction industry and has worked on site, installing structural steel. The Site Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects while liaising with internal departments. In regular update meetings with the management, the project manager will update on relevant information, ensuring that the goals and timelines are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project team to hold them accountable
- Organize and hold project update meetings for the management team
- Develop and execute project plans and schedules
- Develop effective and streamlined project team workflows
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives
- Utilize project management tools to track and report on project status
- Implement quality management processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including supervising their work and providing feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with overall business objectives
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in project management
- Review and overview department hours for payroll
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction project management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Software
- Prior knowledge of siteDocs, Tekla Powerfab, and Bluebeam are considered an asset
