Arcoco Design Studio Looking for interior designer and Drafter at North York, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented freelance interior designer and Drafter to join our team as a project base. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential projects and possess excellent interpersonal and technical skills.

Required Experience:

• 1+ years of interior design experience commercial and residential
• Advanced knowledge on cabinet design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, rendering, Photoshop, Excel, Word and Power Point
• Knowledge of interior design principles and practices, codes and standards, finish and material science, specifications and interior construction techniques
• Research, gather, recommend, and present to the team appropriate finishes and furnishings that capture the functional, aesthetic, environmental and budgetary requirements of the project, understanding how texture, light, color and other factors interact to create an environment.
• Prepare documentation for the selection, specification, procurement and installation of furnishings and equipment, including detailed layout drawings and schedules.
• Manage project schedules, with a Project Manager as needed, according to project size.
• Understand the requirements of the plans, life safety issues, building codes and other technical aspects; knowledgeable in the areas of design, drawing and details, finishes and building materials, specifications, local codes, technical drawing, contract administration and business practices.
• Must meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of all work produced
• Persian language is preferred

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or in Architecture or a 2-year college diploma in Interior Design
