Overview: What We Need
The NetBrain Platform Team is building and enriching the NetBrain Platform technology capability so that network engineers can use it to manage any network technology and any vendor technology in their network. We are looking for great Network Development Engineers with extensive Python coding experience.

The Impact You’ll Make
In this role, you will work with a worldwide workforce of passionate technologists who help our largest enterprise and service provider customers to drive their network automation capability. You will be relied on to enable NetBrain functionality for the entire network technology portfolio of our customers.
What You’ll Do: What You’ll Do

• You will research network technologies (SDN, virtualization, Cloud, SD-WAN, etc.), design and develop code to enable the technologies, collaborate and verify with the customers along the way to support them within the NetBrain product offering
• You will work with customers to clarify requirements, quickly address and resolve problems, and collect relevant data
• You will learn and be able to comprehend customer requirements and translate them into the NetBrain platform
• You will write Python code and/or build NetBrain plugins
• You will perform unit and integration testing
• You will provide crucial feedback for our Product Management and Development teams to continuously improve the platform
• You will work with global enterprises to analyze and solve problems in their networks

Who You Are: Who You Are

You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering

• You have 1-3 years’ work experience
• You have strong and extensive Python coding skills
• You have a good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• You have an understanding of OSI L2 to L4 packet encapsulation and forwarding based on OSPF/BGP/MPLS/VXLAN/Load Balance/Security/ARP protocol
• You have a CCNA or equivalent level of network engineering knowledge (this is a plus)
• You have knowledge of cloud operations; SDN, SD-WAN (this is a plus)
• You have the ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
• You are an excellent verbal and written communicator
• You are fluent in English, fluent in Mandarin is a plus.
