AMMEGA Looking for Financial Controller at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Directly assist the Director of Finance in all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and financial operations  Prepare monthly financial statements for review with the management and explain the cash flow in relation to business performance  Prepare Weekly Sales Reports  Manage working capital and provide weekly cash flow forecasts  Assess accounting policies and procedures to align with Ammega Corporation communication and guidelines  Oversee and monitor the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting  Play a key role in defining and implementing the evolution of financial reporting automation  Monitor, analysis and provide commentary on operating results against budgets, forecast and prior year  Prepare complex analysis to support projects and initiatives  Build and manage transfer pricing policy and documents and ensure proper documentation is created for all external, intercompany and related party transactions  Build and analyze reporting for future operational efficiencies including preparing presentations to communicate to leadership team  Prepare weekly/monthly dashboard of manufacturing variances and spending, highlighting opportunities for improvement and understand trends and help analyze root causes  Prepare monthly Corporate reports including manufacturing variance, manufacturing KPIs and productivity action plan, and provide commentary on performance vs targets  Liaise with external Auditors.  Purchase Ledger – Matching and entering invoices, account reconciliation, payments.  Sales Ledger – Invoicing (to cover holidays), credit control, entering payments, account reconciliation  Nominal Ledger – Journals, prepayments, accruals, account reconciliation  Wages – monthly, reconcile PAYE, NI and Pensions  P11D yearly submission and declaration to HMRC  Analyzes monthly variance analysis to understand key cost drivers and provides insights  Maintain and update standard cost model, including addition of new products and projects  Monitor spending on key categories including maintenance, supplies, and consumables, and support company initiatives to reduce spending  Prepare cost center reports, and work with plant management  Support preparation of budget, forecasts, and monthly bridges  Participate in the physical and cycle count program to drive accuracy of inventory  Assist Plant management in setting cost standards for Key Process Indicators and developing measurement methods against those standards  Other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills Requirements:  College Diploma or University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field  Fully qualified accountant or- ACA-ACCA-CIMA qualified  Experience in a controller role is required  At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment is required  Advanced level with MS Excel (pivot table, VLookups, charts, macros, conditional formulas, etc.)  Solid prior experience with ERP, accounting systems & MRP software is required  Excellent knowledge of specific regulations, principles and laws applicable to the role  Fundamental knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles  Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct presentations for executive
