Matrix is urgently hiring local labourers for a long term project in Halifax, NS. Overtime may be offered each week
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of shops, facility, on projects and anywhere else needed
- Help with setting up for specified work on a vessel or in the shop
- Preparing and applying coating
- Helping with care and preservation, performing fire watch and confined watch duties
- Assisting in docking and undocking vessels
- Surface preparation & Coating (i.e. Solvent Cleaning, Hand Tool Cleaning, Power Tool Cleaning, and Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal)
- Assisting others wherever assistance is needed
Requirements
- You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job
- A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/background check will need to be completed
- Full PPE+Fit Tested Respirator Mask
