The Opportunity
Accountable to the Managers of the Ambulatory Surgical Care and Ambulatory Care, Regional Poison Centre and NSIPP, the Clinical Leader Development (CLD) plans, develops and implements educational activities at a program/team based level across the Children’s Health Program, to foster the development of competencies (in staff). Participates actively in the development of Children’s Health Ambulatory Care staff through coaching and mentorship and by sharing knowledge and resources, and providing feedback. Provides clinical practice support to all health care team members and patients. Functions as a change agent by thinking reflectively, assessing alternatives and supporting change. Participates in the recruitment and selection of personnel to attend appropriate education programs, events, conference, etc. ensuring limited resources are allocated fairly and equitably.
