Description Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join our client! The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. If you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.
Your responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks
- Manage the preparation of all financial reports
- Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers
- Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions
- Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models
- Analyze monthly operating performance against budget
- Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
- Supervise risk and insurance management
- Manage the organizational structure of the department in order to achieve goals and objectives
- Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department
- Manage the operating procedures of the department, including short- and long-range goals, objectives, and policies- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff
- Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions
- Propose benchmarks for analyzing financial and operating performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Experience with multiple financial and accounting reporting systems
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- MBA or CPA is preferred
- High analytical and extremely detailed
- 10+ years of finance and accounting experience
