HMC is looking for a crew lead to join its growing team! We are a hardscape contractor serving London and surrounding area.

Experience is required, pay will depend on experience.

The successful applicant will:

• Assist equipment operator in performing tasks in a safe and appropriate manor.
• Ensure projects are completed to timeline and budget
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavator and skid steer
• Ensure daily maintenance and safety checks are completed
• Conduct pre-operational checks, and clean, lubricate and refill as necessary
• Participate in daily safety meetings and Hazard Assessments
• Report all near miss/incidents
• Participate in daily work planning
• Have a sound understanding of the issues of ground disturbance
• Traun and assist ground crew in laboring duties as necessary
• Follow company’s safety program

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• concrete forming and finishing
• Interlocking brick installation
• Retaining walls, firepits & pillar installation
• Grading and sodding
• Fence Install

Ideal Candidates will have CSTS09, WHIMIS, employee safety training.

Positions will require a G license with a clean 3 year drivers abstract.

A license and/or skid steer operating certificate Is considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Experience:

• construction (hardscape): 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (required)
