Group 161 represents a diverse group of companies including Atelier Pacific Architecture, Barnett Dembek Architecture and DF Architecture. The position will be based out of DF Architecture Inc. office in Airport Executive Park, Richmond BC.
As we have been growing and expanding our needs are now such to require a Human Resource Manager who will work directly with Principal, Office Manager, and all levels of staff to meet the various human resource needs of the three firms under the Group 161 umbrella.

We are currently working on large scale projects including wood frame multi family to residential high-rise. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team.
**We are open to candidates looking for either a Part-Time or Full-Time role**
Compensation will be based on experience and related structure of role
Responsibilities Include:
- Recruitment
- On-boarding / off boarding, including termination matters and related required docs
- Overseeing learning and development of staff
- Management of benefits
- Performance reviews, compensation analysis
- Leave and work arrangements, employee complaints/incidents, employment letters and other correspondence as required
- Health and safety initiatives (COVID policies etc.)
- Employee engagement
- Implementing procedures and ensuring they are followed/applied consistently
- Staff rewards, recognition, benefits, wellness and related initiatives
- Remaining up to date on current legislation
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have a passion for assisting staff, as well a positive and creative attitude in helping build the office culture. They would also have the following qualifications:
- Education in HR Management or Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Generalist/Management specific role (experience in architectural or related field considered a strong asset)
- Demonstrated experience in HR legislation and practices
- Excellent communication skills in English; both written and verbal
- Comfortable navigating various software, including office and payroll related
