Your Role:
As the Marketing Manager, CIVA & Pharmaceuticals you will lead and support of the commercial and marketing strategies for Baxter’s Centre for IV Admixing (CIVA). This includes leading commercial efforts to ensure delivery of revenue, profitability and marketing goals, as well as supporting continuous improvement projects, new product launches and other day-to-day needs of the business.
What you’ll do:
Assist with the creation and execution of marketing strategies, positioning and portfolio direction based on market insights/voice-of-customer
Ensuring on-time delivery and support of CIVA goals and strategies and find opportunities for synergies across the portfolio
Responsible for the achievement of the financial growth targets for CIVA business
Support the development of annual marketing plans and long-range financial plans
Work with Region and Global marketing partners to support local and global projects
Support sales and marketing with customer facing events and conferences by handling budget, approvals, materials and execution as needed
Lead marketing processes pertaining to day-to-day activities and issue management
Represent CIVA at monthly planning meetings and assist with forecasting for products
Contribute to initiatives with supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory or global as needed (e.g. labeling updates, product shortage communications, process improvements)
Understand product pricing and profitability strategies
Develop pricing guidelines for new products and customers
Assist planning, research & studies for pipeline products
Use country-specific and international data to guide development of new service & product offerings
What you’ll have:
Undergraduate degree in health or science related field
3+ years business or practical pharmacy experience
Knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice in Canada
Understanding of drugs used in hospital settings (formats, doses, indications, etc.)
Nice to have:
Degree in Pharmacy
Financial acumen, strong understanding of factors contributing to budget success & overall profitability
2+ years in Marketing within the healthcare industry
Strong familiarity with Drug Preparation Premises (services, offerings, operations)
Strong background in medication practices in Canada, particularly injectable drugs
Experience communicating and developing relationships with healthcare providers
Project management experience
