General Labourer
Cambium Site Contracting is a well-established General Site Contracting Company operating since 1993, Based in Caledon Ontario, we specialize in Large Scale Municipal Park and Site Development Projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas. Current and upcoming sites in Nobleton, Toronto, and Tottenham. Transportation to the Job Site is a requirement for this position. Currently our company is expanding and we are looking to hire General Labourers with room for advancement, starting date expected by March 28th 2022. Salaries range between $18- $24/hr based on experience and Ability.
Requirements:
- WHIMIS, Working at Heights (Training available if required)
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 100lbs
- Landscape construction experience an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to job sites as required
- Loading and unloading of vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials
- Assist in carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, and other specialized construction processes as required
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools and machinery
- Manual labour including grading, tree planting, drainage pipe installation, and concrete forming
- Operation of small equipment including concrete saws, drills and skill saws (Training available)
- Use of hand tools safely and effectively
- Tree planting
