Position Summary
This position will assist in the auditing, compiling, and processing of information related to staff onboarding, staff offboarding, recruitment, compensation, and benefits. This position contributes to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and families.

Position Summary
This position will assist in the auditing, compiling, and processing of information related to staff onboarding, staff offboarding, recruitment, compensation, and benefits. This position contributes to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and families.
On a practical level, you will
- Assist Human Resources Associates (HRAs) and Talent Acquisition team with coordination of all aspects of a human resources process, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Support general administrative functions
- Assist HRAs with regular biweekly, monthly and annual HR related processes, including processing transfers, updating employee files, and assisting with general staff requests
- Provide additional support with research in support of specific program related expansion and various projects.
- Assisting with various career fairs, HR events and special projects as needs arise
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program focused on Human Resources with a co-op work term
- Previous experience in an office environment or Human Resources department is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Enjoy and excel at contributing to and working in a team
- Demonstrated initiative and commitment to learning
- Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic and sense of commitment
- Bilingualism in French/English an asset

This is a Full Time Temporary position with 8 hour shifts, days in the Human Resources Department. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package which includes, vacation pay, stat holiday pay and the opportunity to join the Hospital Pension Plan.
