Position: Human Resources Generalist
SUMMARY
In a newly created role, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce is seeking an HR Generalist to provide HR and payroll services to a variety of professional functions with a specific focus on the needs of the growing team in SME Programs. This role will appeal to the self-starter with both significant recruiting and payroll experience comfortable with cyclical intake programs such as co-op or educational institution placements. Location: Downtown Toronto (Note: Currently, all OCC employees are working from home and any attending at the office are subject to comprehensive Covid precautions. We anticipate a graduated return to office that will accommodate a hybrid work-from-office and work-from-office model.)

About the role:
The Human Resources Generalist provides support for day-to-day operations related to recruiting, employee records, payroll, and benefits. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the HR Generalist works closely with hiring managers in the SME (small and medium enterprises) Programs department to recruit and orient co-op and program staff on a regular cycle.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 per annum commensurate with qualifications and experience
Anticipated start date: Immediately based on availability
