Colliers International Looking for Jr. Accountant at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Who you are

You will be a Junior Accountant looking to develop your accounting skills further and gain exposure in a large publicly traded company. You will be responsible Assisting in preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries and account reconciliations for business units, as well as compiling data for financial analysis. You will preform data entry and issuing invoices and prepare monthly accounts receivable reporting.

What you bring

• A self-motivated individual with customer service orientation and ‘can do’ attitude
• 2 years of experience in an accounting position is preferred
• Strong aptitude for streamlining and improving processes

Bonus skills and experience

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• A degree in Finance/ Accounting or related field
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Demonstrates the capacity to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities while remaining calm and controlled

What success looks like

• You will be successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately
• You ill be gaining new skills and experience through learning from your colleagues
