What you’ll do
As a member of the Indigenous Education and Affairs team, you will be instrumental in supporting the Director with daily operational needs through coordination of special projects, administrative work and report creation. We are looking for someone to help us continue building our Indigenous Education and Affairs team by assisting with projects and creating exceptional experiences for our employee and student community. By providing confidential administrative support and being the first point of contact between partners, the community and the office of Indigenous Education and Affairs, the Assistant to the Director is an important member of the team helping Capilano University reach its goals.
What you’ll bring
Completion of two years (approximately 60 credits) of post-secondary education in a related field.
Three years of directly related administrative support experience.
Experience working with Indigenous communities and students.

Days and Hours of Work
Our standard work week is Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm. This position may include evening and weekend work.
Remote/flexible work locations may be a possibility for this position.
Bridge Period (if applicable)
Pay Group 18
Salary
Pay group 18 starts at $50,232 annually with incremental increases up to $56,544 based on 35 hour work weeks.
