We are hiring for the position of a Working Site Supervisor. This position acts as a conduit between Project Manager and onsite activities and will provide overall on-site management, technical and administrative direction at the site level. This position will work with and lead their crew to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with budget, design, and schedule while maintaining a safe workplace. Keeping a professional attitude is a must.
- Must have extensive experience in residential construction (Ontario preferred). This position will require the ability to perform all aspects of construction.
- Able to read and interpret drawings.
- Understand all rules, regulation, policies and local building code (Ontario).
- Supervising, scheduling, and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment as required
- Responsible for all on site activities with team and trades.
- Ensure productivity and monitor efficiency of employees and subcontractors to ensure project schedules, planning and budgets are maintained.
- Work closely with project manager, and designer.
- Ensure all workmanship complies with company and project standards.
- Ensure compliance of all on site personnel with Health and Safety Program to create a safe working environment and adhere to all of the safety record keeping requirements.
- Conduct site meetings as required and provide support and direction to the field crews in adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
This position reports to the Project Manager and will lead all site personnel and sub trades to the successful completion of the construction project. Further responsibility will be as directed by superiors to allow for project success.
Must have WHMIS, Working at Heights . Any other training an asset.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of on-site residential construction experience.
- Must have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven leader, highly motivated to the overall success of assigned projects.
- Must have ability to work with power tools.

Languages – English
Job requires physical labor, outdoor work, fast paced environment, some overtime required.
Must have steel toed safety boots, hard hat.
We build residential homes and driving from one location to another is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$67,500.00 per year
