We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals wanting to learn new skills as Concrete Coring Technician Trainees. This is an excellent opportunity to receive training and start a career in this field. It is a full time, permanent position with steady hours and opportunities for advancement.
What you will be working on
The Concrete Coring Technician interprets technical marks in concrete slabs to make holes and openings within concrete structures by safely executing core drilling techniques. The technician will responsible for successful completion of concrete coring projects, including site preparation, equipment set up, maintaining a clean area of work, and site clean up.
We provide exceptional training and opportunities for advancement – 80% of our managers got promoted from Trainees. As the construction industry continues to grow, there will only be more opportunities available to talented professionals such as our Technicians. Past successful candidates come from the following backgrounds: landscaping, firefighters, concrete pouring.

Requirements
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge about safe work practices and compliance with all safety regulations
Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract to use company vehicles as necessary
Strong communication skills, fluent in English
Ability to improvise and troubleshoot in the field
Experience in construction sites considered an asset
