Multi Award Winning Ambassador Fine Custom Homes Inc. has been featured in various magazines, newspapers and TV. We are a high end custom home builder, dealing with elite clients from around the world.
We are seeking a multi talented individual with a proven track record and proven credentials.
You are a seasoned professional with at least 15 years high paced, high responsibility experience, with an understanding of home construction. This is not an internship position.
You have a PMP or equivalent, are computer savvy, well versed in QuickBooks and sophisticated excel spreadsheets, quick learner with new proprietary programs.
You are a great communicator both orally and written. You are resourceful, can work alone and are deadline oriented. Responsibility and accountability come naturally.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the office end of a custom home building business. This includes but is not limited to bookkeeping, tracking costing and budgets, reports, various level government form completions, communicating with clients, trades, professionals, city officials.
Procurement of trades and suppliers is an important part of this position. You have experience sourcing both, furnishing them with detailed information, answering questions, collecting pricing, posting them on a comparable spreadsheet and once the successful trade and/or supplier is chosen, collecting pertinent company information from them to comply with MOL and construction practice requirements.
This is a fast pace position where many hats are worn and it’s always a different day, full of challenges and new goals to be achieved. You have a cool head and are not hot tempered. You cope with stress well and have common sense.
You are a people person. Whilst you will be working alone in the office most of the time, it is a very interactive position where accurate and polite communication with various types of people happens daily. From Engineers to City officials to very talented trades with thick accents. Patience is part of your DNA.
We welcome mature applicants who are seasoned professionals. This is not your first job nor is this an experiment to transition into the home building industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $54,000.00-$64,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
During COVID-19 there will be minimal visits from clients to the office. Trades almost not at all as we have managed to shift almost all meetings to be onsite.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Project management and project administrative: 10 years (preferred)
