Direct Reports: Between 2 – 5 direct reports in Sales and Customer Service in Ontario and Manitoba.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This role will involve in-office, travel and remote work.

About the Position
ATS Traffic is looking for a talented Director of Sales to grow our presence in the eastern market! This leadership role will run the sales, revenues, and profitability of the Ontario and Manitoba territories.

Key Accountabilities
Establish an aggressive sales strategy and yearly sales plans for existing and new accounts
Achieve the annual revenue target within the Ontario and Manitoba territories
Identify the necessary resources to lead the sales team though the sales lifecycle
Assist in the preparation and delivery of all RFP’s, RFQ’s, and Quotations as needed
Supervise and lead the internal customer service department towards their revenue budgets
Maintain and update identified sales put forward by corporate head office
Manage identified key accounts with a view on identifying additional revenue opportunities
Share competitive intelligence in your assigned province with other provincial sales teams
Negotiation skills with individuals and groups as necessary
Knowledgeable in sales quotas and revenue generation techniques
Proven sales success with strong customer service orientation
High level of judgement, reasoning, and discretion in all decision making aspects
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in either Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Approximately 5 years experience setting up industrial services and/or sales branches with municipal and construction markets is required. Industrial experience with sales, rentals, installation services and re-sale items is a plus!
Between 1 – 3 years of previous leadership experience is an asset.
Proven history of driving new business development within Ontario. Track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
Understanding of traffic, transportation and construction industries is an asset, but not required.
Intermediate to senior level experience in Microsoft Office suite of products is desired: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to travel to Manitoba approximately once per month.
