We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Accounting Manager at our Corporate office in Mississauga.

What you’ll do:

Ability to prepare financial statements when required (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, trial balance)
Have an understanding of government regulations and reporting requirements.
Managing day to day accounting tasks within Quick Books – Payables, Receivables, credit control approval, matching payments to invoices, bank reconciliations, etc.
Attend management meetings and provide forecasting and updates on budgeting.
Ability to handle year-end and monthly period management.
Maintaining relationships with our suppliers and ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner.
Quarterly/Annual reporting and remittances for HST, WSIB, EHT and Corporate tax
Intercompany payments and transfers

What you’ll need:

2-5 years’ experience in a similar, mid-level role in accounting and finance.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books
Extremely detail oriented.
Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills.
Able to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and work to deadlines
Exceptional written and oral English skills including proof-reading
This is a full-time, in-office position
