Job Description
FusionTech Telecommunications is currently seeking a Construction General Labourer. . We are recruiting in the Brampton area but travel will be required elsewhere. Candidates must be experienced in operating a mini-excavator and in manual labour in an outside construction environment. The job includes hand digging, pedestal placements, fibre jetting / blowing, reading utility locates, paperwork and reading construction and permit drawings .
Prerequisites:
Experience with manual labour in telecom industry is an asset
proficient in mini-excavator operation
A strong commitment to safety
Good work ethic
Pass a criminal record check
Valid G driver’s license in good standing
The ability to safely lift heavy objects and tools to perform a variety of tasks
Can lift up to 50 pounds
The ability to carry and climb an extension ladder.
The ability to work in confined spaces
Willingness to work flexible hours and locations
Willingness to travel as required
Willingness to work outside and in all types of weather conditions
