UMC High School Looking for International Student Recruitment Specialist – China, Taiwan & Hong Kong at Scarborough, ON Full Time

Job Description:

International Student Recruitment:

· Research and report updates of education markets to develop an effective marketing strategy and plan

· Accomplish the specified and mandatory goals of enrolment numbers

• Create and maintain student recruitment channels and relationship with agents and partner schools recruiting students from China/Taiwan/Hong Kong.
• Provide accurate and timely information about UMC & UMC High School to prospective students in China/Taiwan/Hong Kong.

· Organize and attend student orientations, education fairs and other marketing events

Counselling Support

· Monitors progress of international students and provides ongoing support, referring students for professional assistance, when appropriate;

· Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure student satisfaction and success

• Provide supports to other administrative duties upon request

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in international student recruitment is preferred
• Willing to travel locally and internationally
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Strong presentation skills and enthusiastic about challenges
• Must be proactive and performance driven
• Knowledge of educational systems and international secondary & post-secondary system of other countries is an asset
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and students

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $33,000.00-$38,000.00 per year
