Currently, we are looking to fill the following vacancy:
Data Analysis Coordinator (DAC), Community Paramedicine
Temporary, full-time position (approximately 18-month contract with the possibility for extension).
Northumberland County’s Paramedic Department, Community Paramedicine are looking for a talented Data Analysis Coordinator.
Duties & responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Paramedic Department Manager, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of the Community Paramedicine and pre-hospital care.
Using your education and experience you will work closely with all divisions in the
Paramedic Department – Community Paramedicine and pre-hospital care to implement the objectives of the plans/agreements, meeting both County and provincial legislative/program requirements to monitor and improve program outcomes, accountability, risk management and financial responsibility. You will be required to participate in the implementation of the Community Paramedicine – Long Term Care program. This includes local analysis of maintaining, and keeping seniors in their homes safely and longer with appropriate supports and strategies, as well as returning to their homes following admissions to hospital/treatment/assessments. Reviewing the utilization of 911 and identifying patterns and potential diversion and referral strategies.
You will provide direction in the development, establishment, and implementation for standard processes for collecting, updating, and managing data to support evidence- based recommendations and planning.
You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, storage and use of data bases containing sensitive, personal client and organizational information. You will ensure data integrity of applications, implementation of software and collection of required data and statistics to ensure quality and accuracy for data and statistical integrity.
You will be responsible to lead various projects, conduct local analysis of related data, conduct ongoing review and monitoring of indicators and outcomes within pilot and system programs, provide predictions, recommendations and summaries based on evidence and data. You will support and participate in financial recording, reporting and planning including the attainment of targets, and the use of data and research to make recommendations about budgeting and financial allocations.
You will have advanced writing and presentation skills to formally present detailed information to a wide variety of audiences, while building cooperative relationships with other employees and external stakeholders through internal and community liaison.
