What you’ll do
As the Technical Support, you will report to Associate Director, Information Systems and will be responsible for providing technical support for the systems under BCCHF’s IS administration to users and partners, as well as providing technical support for events hosted by BCCHF.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
Power Point; Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver,
Lightroom; The Raiser’s Edge) o Cloud Application Support (Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive) o Remove application support (VPN and Remote Desktop) o Website Support (troubleshooting and escalating reported website issues)
What you bring
As our ideal candidate, you are currently pursuing or has recently graduated from a Computer
Science program (or related field). Additionally, our ideal candidate has gained 1 to 2 years of experience working in an office environment, preferably in an area related to information systems or technical support.

What you can expect
This position is based in our office located in Vancouver, BC. It will be a casual contract role for up to three months. There will be some flexibility required for after hours and weekend event support. As part of enabling the kind of culture and values that power the possible , we’re committed to creating a flexible workplace experience. We are currently piloting a fully hybrid work environment that allows individuals and teams to split their time between working remotely from home and in-office. It’s a partnership grounded in trust, where working together, team leaders and members determine what activities require on-site presence and schedule time and commitments appropriately.
