Does the idea of writing high performance firmware and tests for next generation network interfaces appeal to you? Build the foundation for an embedded software career, with one of the most advanced engineering companies in the world. Learn advanced techniques from industry experts that solve performance and feature challenges, in areas such as hardware/software interfaces and algorithms. Work alongside other local and remote firmware development and validation members, in a collaborative environment as you participate in the road to productization. This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer or any related field.
3+ months of experience in some of the following areas:
Knowledge of embedded systems, digital design, software/firmware development and testing methodology.
Analytical mindset – debug skills.
Experience with project-based teamwork.
C/C++programming experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months of experience in some of the following areas:
Experience with software development in RTOS environment and/or embedded Linux.
Experience with multi-threaded software development.
General knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Groovy.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
