GCS General Contracting Services has immediate openings for labourers for telecom installation work in the Kelowna, Kamloops and Vernon (interior BC) areas – willing to train the right candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Labourer scopes;
Installation of fibre optic conduit;
Shoveling and digging;
Backfilling;
Participate in site safety including pre-job orientations, tailgate meetings, ensure all safety paperwork is accurate and complete;
Other drilling / labour tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior construction labour experience an asset;
Hard working
Safety conscious
Physically fit and capable of lifting +50lbs;
Strong work ethic;
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
CERITIFICATIONS:
CSTS 2020 (required)
Ground Disturbance Level 2 would be an asset
