Summit Academy is a co-educational independent school founded in 2017 with
students in Junior Primary to Grade 9. Academic rigour, active learning – both in and
out of the classroom – and daily physical activity are the foundation of our Academy’s
approach to educating passionate learners. Providing a high-quality education to our

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative educator to become part of our highly
engaged, progressive, and professional faculty for the position of Grade Primary
teacher. Responsibilities will also include active participation in the co-curricular life of
the school. Ideal candidates will be adept at, and comfortable using, technology to
supplement and support curriculum development and delivery.
All candidates must hold or be eligible for NS teacher certification and have permanent residency status or citizenship in Canada. In addition, Summit Academy is committed to providing a safe educational environment for our students and staff. All qualified applicants will be required to provide a clear Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector) and Child Abuse Registry Check prior to commencement of employment.
