Are you an organized, detail oriented, conscientious individual who loves numbers, optimizing business processes and working as part of a team? We are looking to add a full-time Finance Manager to our Vancouver office.
About the Job:
The Finance Manager will work closely with the Firm’s Management Committee to manage, direct and control daily financial processes and analysis for the firm.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements to support the firm’s objectives and provide strategic direction;
Prepare various periodic performance analysis reports to support departmental and management decision-making process;
Research and provide recommendations to the FMC on financial compliance issues;
Oversee daily transactions for trust accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing;
Ensure that the accounting system operates in an efficient and effective manner with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence;
Prepare various periodic performance analysis reports to support departmental and management decision-making process;
Provide training and support for all accounting functions as needed;
Pay Range: $92,000 to 98,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications

About our Ideal Candidate
Experience: A minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience, ideally, in a professional services environment.
Qualifications: A professional accounting designation in good standing (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA).
Skills: Proven organization and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and prioritize; high level of attention to detail. Demonstrated integrity, flexibility, professional judgement, and collaborative approach to work.
Characteristics: You should be a motivated, proactive self-starter who has a positive attitude. You understand the importance of exercising discretion and confidentiality and can adapt to dynamic situations. We take pride in the quality of our work, so we hope you do too.
This position is based in our downtown office, Monday to Friday.
