The Role:
Reporting to Team Lead – SaaS, the Cloud DevOps Engineer will maintain and expand processes and infrastructure for automated builds and regression tests of enterprise IAM software. This is a full-time regular position with flexibility to work remotely and open to candidates residing anywhere in Canada.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
Maintain build systems and related process automation in the cloud.
Recommend and implement improvements to processes and tooling.
Manage build infrastructure, including underlying cloud resources.
Monitor and optimize cloud environment.
Recommend and implement improvements to processes and tooling.
Manage build infrastructure, including underlying cloud resources.
Monitor and optimize cloud environments.
Monitor for and escalate problems, including product and operational issues.
Participate in ongoing initiatives to architect, deploy and manage a growing portfolio of cloud solutions and customer instances.
24×7 on-call responsibilities for Managed Systems and Customer Instances.

Work Environment:
Small-medium sized cyber security software company (Identity and Access Management).
Remote work environment (online meetings and communication).
Work independently (minimal supervision).
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (cross departmental).

Equipment/Tools/Software:
Company provided desktop with VPN capabilities
Personal laptop to be able to remote into an office work station
Video/audio conferencing applications
Required Education and Training Qualifications:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. is required, preferably in software engineering, computer science or a related discipline.
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a different subject and later on-the-job or certificate based training will also be considered.
Required Work Experience and Skill Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with one of more configuration and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools
Terraform
AWS Cloud Formation
3+ years of experience with the following:
Administering Windows servers.
Script development and maintenance (bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Monitoring tools.
Git or Subversion.
Experience helping companies execute a cloud transition strategy.
Experience deploying and managing non-cloud native software in a cloud environment.
Related experience with:
Cloud governance best practices.
Multi-cloud environments.
Configuring and monitoring continuous integration workflows.
Required Personal Competencies:
An ability to present information, verbally and in writing, clearly, interesting, practical and appropriate for varied learning styles.
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
Clear communicator in English – written and verbal.
