Job Description*
What you will do: *

Reviewing and analyzing data and eligibility to ensure the members are showing correctly on all applicable systems.

• Identifying emerging issues and trends through inquires received and proactively raise the issues to the Benefits Services Technical Specialists and management team.
• Researching data discrepancies, including review of HRIS files and conversion data received by boards and previous carriers at OTIP.
• Assisting with escalated member issues related to eligibility and plan set up as required.
• Providing information and responding to inquiries from other departments, board administrators and members regarding benefit maintenance and procedure issues, coverage, effective dates and outstanding information.
• Providing timely and accurate information in response to incoming telephone inquiries using an automated telephone system, computer applications, training material and other applicable resources.

Qualifications*
What you will bring: *

• Minimum of two years’ experience in group insurance including, health, dental, life and long term disability.
• Strong knowledge of health, dental, life and long term disability insurance, as it pertains to contractual and administrative provisions.
• Highly analytical and detail oriented.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel.
• Fluent in both written and oral English and French.
